In 1983, after receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Providence College, David began working alongside his father and assumed control of the company in 1985. David became Vice President from 1986 until 1992 when he assumed his present position as President and CEO. Since that time, David’s focus on quality, customer service, building relationships, exceeding customer expectations, training, response time, and supervision, has helped him grow the company to where it now services over 600 clients.
Seeing a lack of pride within the industry, David began the franchise division, Cleantech Services Inc. in 1995. Cleantech Services, Inc. provides our very best employees and other entrepreneurial individuals with the opportunity to partner with us to better serve our clients’ needs. Our family-owned business has helped dozens of entrepreneurial individuals establish and maintain their own successful cleaning franchise. Utilizing state of the art equipment in conjunction with our extensive training program, our franchisees are prepared and skilled at creating comprehensive cleaning programs to provide clean, healthy work environments to their clients.

We have a general liability policy that includes $2,000,000 of general aggregate coverage and $1,000,000 per occurrence. Our $ 5,000,000 umbrella policy provides even greater peace of mind to our clients.
A $1,000,000 workers compensation policy covers our employees.
A $50,000 janitorial bond covers all employees of Ocean State Janitorial.
